Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has approved the operation of three new train services for Rajasthan following an initiative by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

The approved services include the Bhuj–Barauni Amrit Bharat Express, which will cover approximately 2,532 km, linking Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

In Rajasthan, this tri-weekly service will pass through Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City and Bharatpur, creating vital connections across four states.

The other two sanctioned services, the Haridwar–Okha Express and Haridwar–Veraval Express, will operate through Rajasthan via Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer and Abu Road.

These routes will provide passengers from these cities with additional rail connectivity to Haridwar in Uttarakhand as well as Gujarat and other major parts of western India.

The Bhuj–Barauni Amrit Bharat Express is scheduled to depart from Bhuj at 5:30 PM and reach Barauni at approximately 4:05 AM on the fourth day, completing the journey in nearly 58 hours and 35 minutes.
